Perfect Smoothie when you want a little pick-me up and a nice treat on a hot day. Really quick and easy to make and is quite filling.
Makes one large serving
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 an avocado
- 1 large handful of spinach
- 1 tsp Matcha powder
- 2 tbsp shredded coconut
- 1.5 cups of coconut milk (I used an almond-coconut milk combo, but any non-dairy milk will do)
- 3 ice cubes
- Put everything in the blender and blend until smooth. Since there are ice cubes in this recipe, I like to blend a little longer than I would other smoothies, to make sure that there aren’t any big chunks of ice.
- I like to serve my smoothies in a mason jar with a metal straw, and garnish with some fresh basil to add some nice colour and freshness. Enjoy!
